Each TTUSD Trustee must reside within a specific geographical area of the district - however, all Trustees are elected at-large, and as such represent the entire district and not just their individual areas. The residence boundaries of the Trustee areas can be found here. Trustees are elected to staggered four year terms.
TTUSD Adopts Balanced Budget for Fiscal Year 2009-10
The Board of Trustees took action to make budget adjustments of approximately $3.8 million in order to balance the 2009-10 budget. Although the 2009-10 budget has been balanced and a plan for significant budget reductions for the 2010-11 fiscal year does not appear to be necessary at this time, careful and conservative budgeting will be maintained for the foreseeable future. The State of California continues to experience severe budget deficits that will undoubtedly affect public education funding, including basic aid districts. Lakeside Restructuring Committee
The Tahoe Truckee Restructing and Reconfiguration Advisory Committee (TTRRAC) was a citizen's committee established to advise the Board on possible reconfigurations of our Lakeside faciltiies and programming to better meet the needs of our students.
