My name is Suzanne Beye and I teach Transitional Kindergarten at Tahoe Lake Elementary. I grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from California State University, Chico in 1991 with a BA in Liberal Studies and an emphasis in Child Development. In 1993, I received my Clear Multiple Subjects Credential and CLAD certificate from Chico State. I have been teaching at TTUSD for 22 years. I taught at Truckee Elementary from 1999-2001, Kings Beach Elementary from 2001-2009, and Tahoe Lake Elementary from 2009-Present. I was a finalist in 2013 for Teacher of the Year from Truckee Hometown Sears. In 2014, I was awarded Teachers Who Make a Difference by the Placer County Office of Education. In 2015, I was a recipient of the Linda Brown Fellows Award for Excellence in Education. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my husband and son along with our family and friends. I also enjoy spending time at the beach and lake. I love to read, ride my mountain bike, hike, travel, go to concerts, and enjoy interior design.
