State Accountability and Testing

  • Local Control and Accountability (LCAP) and Annual Update -  The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Annual Update Template shall be used to provide details regarding local educational agencies (LEAs) actions and expenditures to support pupil outcomes and overall performance pursuant to Education Code sections 52060, 52066, 47605, 47605.5, and 47606.5.

    Tahoe Truckee Unified School District LCAP Federal AddendumThe LCAP Federal Addendum is reviewed annually by the LCAP, as ESSA funding is considered in yearly strategic planning.  

    California School Dashboard The California Department of Education (CDE) has launched the 2018 California School Dashboard, a website designed to help communities across the state access important data about K–12 districts and schools.

    The site features a wealth of information on test scores, graduation rates, school attendance, college/career readiness, and suspensions. The Dashboard is part of California’s new school accountability and support framework that empowers local communities to address the needs of their local schools.

    California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) The California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) is a testing program established by California law (Education Code Section 48412). If eligible to take the test, a student can earn the legal equivalent of a high school diploma by passing the CHSPE.
