Welcome to Truckee Elementary School! We are a diverse neighborhood school serving students in Transitional K - fifth grades. Our staff, community, and students work together to encourage responsibility, integrity and an enthusiasm for learning. Our primary mission is to provide a quality educational program for all students in a safe, caring and supportive environment.

We are dedicated to maximizing the learning experience for each and every child across content areas, and we have an exceptional intention to and expertise in providing literacy instruction and learning opportunities for all of our students at all levels.
