Glenshire Elementary School serves Transitional-K through 5th grades. Glenshire offers comprehensive programs in music, technology, P.E., science, art, English language arts, mathematics and counseling. We supplement core studies with many hands on learning explorations and have many enrichment opportunities for our students, including yoga, ceramics, guitar, technology and more.
California recently launched the 2018 California School Dashboard, a website designed to help communities across the state access important data about K–12 districts and schools.
The site features a wealth of information on test scores, graduation rates, school attendance, college/career readiness, and suspensions. The Dashboard is part of California’s new school accountability and support framework that is empowering local communities to address the needs of their local schools.

A “delayed start” is a possibility for snowy mornings. A delay of two hours for all school schedules and bus schedules will be implemented when there has been significant snow during the night which ends or is expected to end by 5 a.m. A delayed start will allow more time for our partner agencies and private contractors to address snow removal and to ensure conditions are safe, without missing a full day of school. If we implement a “delayed start” it would be announced using our regular snow day notification process with calls going out to parents at 5:00 am and 6:00 am. For Glenshire Elementary, a delayed start means school will begin at 11:00 am and end at the regular dismissal time. Lunch times remain the same. Again, please be aware that a delayed start means that all bus stop pick up times and school start times are delayed two hours. However, school dismissal time and afternoon bus drop off times remain the same. Thank you!
