I am honored to be part of the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, and I am extremely proud to say that I have played a part in our district since 1993. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, I moved to the Tahoe Truckee area because it's the most beautiful place on Earth, of course!  I began as a classroom volunteer and then worked as an instructional assistant in special education.  I did excuse myself for a year to complete a teaching credential program that allowed me to earn a Multiple Subject Bilingual (Spanish) credential concurrently with a Special Education credential in Mild/ Moderate Disabilities.  This allowed me to return to the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District as a teacher in 1998.  From a special education teacher to classroom teacher, to an academic coach, to a summer school coordinator, and now to administration; my career has been dedicated to supporting the education of our students in the Tahoe Truckee area.  Somewhere in there, I earned a Master's in Education as well as an administrator certification.  I also managed to live in Latin America during several summers, do some rock climbing, run some marathons, and become a decent cook!

I am proud to serve as the principal at Truckee Elementary and I am grateful to be able to support our students and families.
