My name is Darcy Medina and I'm thrilled to be a second grade teacher at Truckee Elementary. Go Cubs! I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2014 with my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and my Master's Degree in Education. I love being part of a classroom community and helping children discover meaningful learning. When I'm not working I enjoy various ways of being outside, including skiing, running, canoeing and rock climbing in the summer. At home I like reading, singing along with my guitar or ukulele and cooking delicious meals.
