Community Advisory Committee (CAC)


    The Placer County SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) primarily includes the parents of special education students who are trained in the laws and issues surrounding special education and volunteer their time to be available to parents and attend monthly Placer County CAC meetings. Each school district appoints a member for a two-year term and may reappoint members to serve additional, consecutive terms.

    The Tahoe Truckee Unified School District CAC Representative Position is still vacant.  Any interested parent or guardian please contact Jeff Santos at (530) 582-2565.
    All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly CAC meetings held in Auburn. Call Melanie Purdy, SELPA Secretary, at (530) 886-5873 for more information.
