Hello, my name is Izaak Eberst! I was truly hoping that we could all be together again to start the school year, but I still look forward to working with you this year to earn some math credits! I spent this crazy summer mostly at home, while also camping with my family and driving to my birth state of Vermont with my mom. I hope you and your family are safe and secure, the last few months have been difficult for many people here and around the world. If there is anything you need, please let me know and I will see what can be done. Hopefully our towns are able to recover and we will see each other in person soon.

I’m sure you are eager to get started on math, but I have other interests as well. Not only Legos and Minecraft [I did lots of building at the start of the quarantine period], but also downhill biking and autocross racing. I started wakeboarding last year, and hopefully winter activities will happen when it gets colder out. I also have lots of less extreme interests, and I look forward to hearing about your hobbies as well!

I was born in Vermont but grew up and attended high school in San Diego. Afterwards I attended Sonoma State University to obtain a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and German, and earned my Masters degree in Education in 2017. I have been at Sierra High School since 2013 and teach all math classes.  I also supervises the online typing course and the school libraries for Sierra High And Cold Stream Alternative.
