    The Facilities Department's major responsibility is to provide healthful, safe, and adequate facilities that enhance the instructional program and a safe, healthy, and comfortable learning environment for our students, staff, and the community. We provide the services essential for the planning, design, construction, restoration, and maintenance of all Tahoe Truckee Unified School District facilities.     
    The Facilities Department is responsible for (12) school sites and (3) support facilities located within 720 square miles in California’s Nevada, Placer, and El Dorado Counties. Snow removal and building snow loads, unique to our region, provide an additional challenge for the department.
