Fiscal Accountability for Measure AA

How does the community ensure Measure AA is fiscally accountable? 

Measure AA requires strict accountability protections, including:

• An independent citizen oversight committee - the Measure AA Citizens Oversight Committee
• Annual audits
• By law, all Measure AA funds must be used in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District
• No funds can be taken by the State
• No funds go towards administrators’ salaries and benefits
