Measure AA Citizens Oversight Committee

The Measure AA Citizens Oversight Committee (COC) oversees the administration and spending of money raised by the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District’s (TTUSD) parcel tax.

This committee represents the interests of local taxpayers and students within TTUSD and reviews Measure AA expenditures to ensure that parcel tax proceeds are expended for the purposes set forth in the Measure AA ballot. In addition, they inform the public about Measure AA expenditures and programs and present an annual report to the Board of Education highlighting Measure AA expenditures, programs, COC activities, and the proposed budget. This committee approves an annual Measure AA budget, which specifies how all Measure AA money will be spent. The TTUSD Board of Trustees retains the final authority to approve or disapprove the recommendations of the Measure AA Citizens Oversight Committee.
