Facilities, Maintenance & Operations
The Facilities Department provides the services essential for the planning, design, construction, restoration, and maintenance of all Tahoe Truckee Unified School District facilities. Our goal is to provide safe, healthy, and comfortable learning environments for our students, staff, and the community. The Facilities Department is responsible for (12) school sites and (3) support facilities located within 720 square miles in California’s Nevada, Placer, and El Dorado Counties. Snow removal and building snow loads, unique to our region, provide an additional challenge for the department.
