Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)- Discount Internet Options
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program is a Federal Communications Commission program that helps connect families and households struggling to afford internet service. This new benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward broadband service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
Eligible households can enroll through a participating broadband provider or directly with the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) using an online or mail in application.

El Programa de Descuentos para Internet (ACP) es un programa de la Comisión Federal de Comunicaciones (FCC) que ayuda a mantener la conexión de internet de las familias y hogares con dificultades para pagar por servicios de internet. Este nuevo subsidio proporciona un descuento de hasta $30 mensuales en la cuenta del servicio de internet de internet de hogares elegibles y de hasta $75 mensuales en las cuentas de internet de internet de hogares ubicados en territorios Tribales elegibles. Do I Qualify?
If your child is eligible for free or reduced school meals, you may use your eligibility letter as one method of qualification. If you do not have a current meal application, fill one out anytime! A new meal application must be submitted every school year. Use the AERIES Parent Portal or Linq (formerly Titan) Family Portal to fill one out today.

There are a number of low to no-cost internet options for our families depending on where you live. Please see below and choose an option available in your area. If you have any questions or need help securing access to the internet for your child, please contact the school site for assistance.
TTUSD Parking Lots
Connect to our TTUSD high speed Guest network for free at any of our school sites or district facilities and at the Boys and Girls Clubs. While using parking lot WiFi please remain in your car to practice physical distancing.
AT&T (Serving all TTUSD areas)
Provides a high speed DSL or hotspot connection to your house. Contact 800.288.2020 to schedule an installation of service. For qualifying families, low or no-cost internet is available from AT&T. Please have your NSLP (National School Lunch Program, obtain from Food Services by contacting Romina at 530-582-2529 or rbranje@ttusd.org) approval letter available and visit att.com/internet/access/.
Suddenlink/Altice (Serving Truckee and some West Shore Lake Tahoe neighborhoods)
Provides a high speed cable connection to your home. Visit order.suddenlink.com/ or call 1-877-694-9474 to schedule an installation of service. For qualifying families, low or no-cost internet is available from Suddenlink/Altice. Spectrum (Serving North and West Shore Lake Tahoe areas)
