I grew up in Auburn, California and attended University of Nevada, Reno after high school. (Go Wolfpack!) I was an Elementary/Special Education major and was immediately involved in the school district where I substitute taught, volunteered and worked at one of the pre-schools during college. I began my career in Reno/Verdi teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade for the last 6 years. While teaching I had the opportunity to go back to school and get my masters in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). After living in Truckee for the last 5 years, I am so lucky to be teaching here at Truckee Elementary! I love teaching and am so excited to continue my career here!

My family and I love the outdoors and are often found backcountry skiing, hiking, paddle boarding or playing with our dog Jackson!
