STEAM Teacher

Mrs. BV spent the first 25 years of her life in Vermont. After teaching for a couple years there, she moved to the suburbs of Washington, D.C. where she taught in Multiage classrooms for 5 years. Feeling the pull to move she packed up a RV with her significant and 3 dogs and moved to Lake Tahoe in 1999. She was a multiage teacher in Tahoe City (Rideout and Tahoe Lake) from 2000-2005. While working on her Masters in Technology in Education she worked in the Technology Lab at Truckee Elementary School from 2005-2018. Mrs. BV is very excited to be teaching in the STEAM Lab at NTS, closer to her home in Kings Beach, on the same campus as her kids and back on the lakeside of the school district.
