Mary is the Technology Teacher at ACMS.

She is very excited to bring her many years of teaching experience to the middle school environment. As a proponent of growth mindset and mindfulness practices, Mrs. B looks forward to learning alongside her new students and colleagues. She is passionate about technology in education and enjoys the process as well as the product.

Mary is an experienced school teacher, having spent the majority of her career at Glenshire Elementary where she was considered a teacher leader. She has a demonstrated teaching history excelling in empowering student and family learning. Mrs. B is skilled in providing optimal learning environments with excellent classroom management and differentiated instruction.

Mrs B presents to other educators at regional and national conferences on different technology themes, notably: appropriateness; integration; Seesaw, the learning journal; and proficiency scales.

When not 'doing tech', Mary spends time playing the ukulele, playing with her dog Shadow, and paddleboarding/hiking in the summer and Nordic skiing in the winter. She is married to her husband, Scott who is the TTUSD Electrician/Electronic Technician. They have two grown daughters, Rachel and Becca, who are proud alumni of the TTUSD, having gone through GES, SMMS/ACMS, and TTHS.
