Mrs. Jamison Bensley, Katie

Katie Jamison Bensley started her teaching career in sunny San Luis Obispo, but following the snow, she found her way to Truckee. She quickly hung up her snowboard and transitioned to skis while working at almost every school in this district before finding a happy home in the Middle School environment. It all started at Alder Creek Middle School in 6th and 8th grade ELA/SS/ELD, then following a lengthy hiatus at North Tahoe School teaching 7th and 8th SS and criminal justice she has recently returned to ACMS to be closer to her toddler, husband and crazy pup. Although her heart lies in the realm of history, she is incredibly excited to be teaching English Language Arts again. You will probably run into Mrs. JB on a trail running, in a lake water skiing or paddle boarding, on a mountain skiing or hiking, traveling internationally, or chasing around her little girl.
