5th Grade Teacher

Hello, my name is Sue Mock and I am very excited to be teaching fifth grade at Truckee Elementary again this year!  This will be my fourth year at this fabulous school! Prior to working with 5th grade students, I primarily taught 6th and 7th grade science and ath at ACMS.  This school year marks my thirtieth year working as an educator in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District.  

Truckee has been my home for most of my life.  I moved here from Southern California during my freshman year of high school.  After graduating from THS, I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Irvine, California, but moved back to Truckee, and completed my teaching credential courses at the University of Nevada, Reno.  I also earned a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from SUNY, University at Buffalo. 

My husband and I enjoy frequent coastal camping trips as well as taking long, peaceful walks with our dog. We also are so fortunate to be able to enjoy spending time with our four adult children and their families!
