Hello, my name is Jen Cilmi and I am very proud to be a TK teacher here at Truckee Elementary! This is my tenth year teaching at TTUSD and my fourth year teaching at Truckee Elementary.  I love seeing how much students grow at this age socially, emotionally and academically.  I enjoy teaching core academics through art, creative play and hands-on learning. I look forward to creating and fostering relationships with all my students and their families this year!

After graduating from the University of New Hampshire in 2004, I moved to Tahoe and have never left! I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Sierra Nevada College and a Reading Specialist credential from UC San Diego. While I’m not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband, our two daughters, and our 11-year-old lab.  We love to ski, ride bikes, be at the lake, and enjoy time with our friends and family.
