GATE Teacher

Hi, I'm Ashely Donahue.  I started my teaching career in Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV in 2003. I then moved to the Tahoe area and worked for Washoe County School District in Reno, NV beginning in 2007 and continued on for 10 years. I began teaching in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District last year.  I have been happy to teach multiple grade levels from 1st-8th and have spent the majority of my teaching career as a GATE teacher.

I moved to Truckee in 2004 to explore the area. I enjoyed so many activities in this area, such as running, hiking, skiing, and gardening that my husband and I decided to stay and make it our home!   We are now raising young children and love sharing all of the amazing opportunities Truckee has to offer with them.

Degrees and certifications:  BS in Elementary Education, MS in Education with a focus on Mathematics & Science, GATE credentialed teacher
