Resource Specialist Teacher, Primary grades 

Hello, my name is Lauren Keane and I am a primary grade Resource Specialist Program teacher.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History from Elon University in North Carolina.  I earned a Masters in Elementary Education with a teaching certificate from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.  In addition, I received a Mild to Moderate Education Specialist certificate while working on a Masters in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.  I enjoy getting to know each student to understand their learning styles and to support them in becoming self-motivated in their pursuit of knowledge.  

While away from campus, I enjoy cooking with my friends, yoga, traveling, reading and learning!  I have enjoyed being a part of the TTUSD community for the last five years.  I have had the opportunity to work at various elementary schools around the district.  I am very excited to be a part of the Truckee Elementary School team this year!
