Current Position: 3rd Grade TWI

Teaching History: I have taught bilingual and dual-immersion Kinder, first, third and fifth grade classes at Kings Beach Elementary for the past 20 years! I have taught for my entire career at KBE - all but two years in room seven!

Teaching Passion: I am passionate about providing students with experiences that enable them to increase their understanding of the world around them, and to engage in reading and writing about it. I believe in teaching all subjects as an integrated whole. For example, we learn science through art, practice math using construction, look for patterns in the natural world and in literature, and make connections between social studies, math, science and writing.

Outside Interests: I love to paddle-board, read, mountain bike, go backpacking, travel and cook.

If I could have a super power, I would have the power to stretch time, so I could do everything I want to do each day!
