I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts/Multiple Subjects Credential. My career began 39 years ago in Poway Unified School District in San Diego. After ten years, I moved to Lake Tahoe and began teaching 7th grade for TTUSD. Throughout my career, I have taught all grades from kindergarten through grade 8. Additionally, I have spent four years teaching English learners. Currently, I have the pleasure of teaching fourth grade at Tahoe Lake Elementary. In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy telemark skiing, hiking, camping, golfing, swimming in the lake, and stand up paddling. A real joy in our lives is our dog, an Alaskan malamute, named Kodiak and our black cat Ella.
