Hi. I'm Laurie Heath. I have been teaching music at Tahoe Lake for 18 years! I love teaching music to my students here. My over all goal is to make music learning fun and exciting. We do lots of hands on activities which incorporate singing, dancing/movement, playing instruments, listening to music, and creating. All students learn simple notation. It makes me really happy when children come up to me and ask: “Is it music today? I love music.” I live in Truckee with my husband and two daughters. Please stop by my classroom across from the office and say hello! I am at Tahoe Lake Monday through Wednesday.

Music is a great blessing. It has the power

to elevate and liberate us. It sets people

free to dream. It can unite us to sing with
