About Ms. Steves: 
Ms. Steves was born and raised in Glen Ellen, CA, and visited Tahoe in the summers to camp, hike and enjoy the beach and occasionally to ski in the winter. After graduating from Sonoma Valley High School in 1993, she attended UC Davis where she graduated with her BA in Spanish. She spent part of her junior year of college abroad, studying in Granada, Spain. Ms. Steves chose to become a teacher because she enjoys working with teenagers and hopes that her efforts will affect the community in a positive way. Outside of school, Ms. Steves likes to hike, camp, travel and spend time with her family.
