About Dr. Steakley:
Dr. Steakley is originally from outside of Boston, MA, and went to college in Vermont, but recently has lived and studied in the Bay Area of California for about 10 years. On a daily basis, he is filled with wonder and curiosity about the amazing complexities of the natural world. His favorite role as a scientist is teaching others how to use science as a way to explain the beauty of the natural world and to answer questions that are interesting to them. In his classes, students use real scientific data to explain discordant events or resolve paradoxes to gain a better understanding of the underlying principles and rules that govern the universe.
