7th Grade ELA teacher

Having lived in Tahoe for most of her life, Mrs Sura was raised with a commitment to working hard and playing hard!  After graduating from Incline High (yes, a Highlander!), she left the mountains for 12 years of education and exploration around the globe. In 2000, she was fortunate to return to the Sierras and land a job teaching 6th through 8th grade English and Social Studies at North Tahoe (yes, a Laker!). When not at school, you can find Mrs. Sura outdoors, soaking up the Tahoe sun with her husband and daughter. Her goal is to encourage her students to embrace a balanced life and to feel confident and well-prepared to pursue their lifelong passions… Work hard. Play hard. Repeat.
