Janell Ward began her career teaching in TTUSD in 1994. She has taught first and third grade with two years in second. She enjoys watching students develop a love for reading.

Janell married and moved to Truckee in 1992. She has two children who are both Glenshire Elementary School alumni.

In her spare time Janell likes to read and spend time with her family. As a family they enjoy snowmobiling, camping, and traveling around the USA seeing all the amazing places the country has to offer.
