I was born and raised in the East Bay Area town of Orinda. My family frequently came to the Tahoe/Truckee area. I knew that someday I would live here! After graduating from University of Colorado, Boulder, I got my teaching credential at Cal State Hayward.
My husband and I have lived in Truckee for 20 years. We raised 3 children here who have all graduated from college. They are all figuring out what they want to be when they grow up. It is an exciting time for them and us.
I have been teaching kindergarten at Truckee Elementary School for the last 15 years. I love helping this age group learn and grow.
When not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love hiking, camping, reading, cooking, and snow.
