Hello. My name is Mrs. Amber Pierce and I've lived in Truckee for 18 years. I received my Bachelor's degree and teaching credential from San Francisco State in 1998.  Since that time, I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and other upper elementary grades. Being in the classroom and helping students develop is one of the greatest joys in my life. I want every student to know that they have the power to live whatever life they choose. Every day, I work to support the academic and social well-being of my students. 

Other interests: I love spending time with my family, camping and hiking together. I also enjoy reading and having tea with valued friends.
