Hi! My name is Katie Old and I have worked at Truckee Elementary since 2005. From 2005-2015, I worked as a Resource Specialist in the Special Education Department at Truckee Elementary. Over the past 10 years, I have developed a love and passion for teaching reading and am excited to now be the Reading Intervention teacher at Truckee Elementary. I absolutely love working at Truckee Elementary and am excited to come to work every day!   

In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with my family.  I have three active and energetic young children (7 year old twins and a 5 year old), an amazing husband and an adorable and slightly mischievous golden retriever. We are all avid backpackers, rafters and skiers and spend every free moment we can outdoors.
