Laurie Scheibner is an elementary science specialist with credentials in Multiple Subjects, Geosciences, and Mathematics, and has K-9 supplemental certifications in English, Mathematics, and General and Physical Sciences. She is a Measure A funded Science STEM Specialist for both Glenshire Elementary and Tahoe Lake Elementary. She has additional training from Ag in the Classroom, the American Meteorological Society Maury Project, and is a NASA NewMAST teacher.

Mrs. Scheibner loves being outdoors, and enjoys hiking, flat water kayaking, camping, bicycling and exploring with her husband and her dog, Lucy. She also loves learning new things from students who bring their own passions and interests into the Science Lab.
