Stephanie Bacon is indeed a Truckee local. She was born and raised in town and progressed through its public schools where she developed a deep love of learning.

She holds a bachelor's degree in environmental education, a  master's degree in curriculum and instruction, and a reading specialist certification. Her passion for education comes from her belief that it is the best tool for helping children make their dreams come true.  Mrs. Bacon will refer to her significant teaching experience to help her students reach their highest potential. She has taught in the district since 2000 having worked at all levels as an instruction coach, several years as a middle school teacher, and currently is loving teaching 5th grade.

When she is not teaching, she enjoys coaching youth sports, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
