Ashley Donahue started her teaching career in Clark County School District in Las Vegas, NV in 2003. She then moved to the Tahoe area and worked for Washoe County School District in Reno, NV beginning in 2007 and continued on for 10 years. She began teaching in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District last year. She has taught multiple grade levels from 1st-8th and has spent a majority of her teaching career as a GATE teacher.  

Ashley moved to Truckee in 2004 to explore the area. She enjoyed so many passions including running, hiking, skiing, and gardening, the area has to offer, she stayed and called it home. She and her husband are now raising two young children and love sharing with them the amazing opportunities Truckee has to experience.
