Pathways 2020 Strategic Plan

The work on the Pathways 2020 Plan was started in the spring of 2012 when the Superintendent Chief Learning Officer conducted a comprehensive Listening and Learning tour of the school district. From this data, themes were identified in addition to looking at district and state assessment data for learning success and gaps.

The governance team of the district (the Board of Education and Superintendent Chief Learning Officer) used this data to develop a new district vision and beliefs. In the absence of a strategic plan, the governance team developed a set of district goals and budget priorities for the 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015 school years. These documents were incorporated into the Pathways 2020 plan which was intended to serve as a guiding document through the end of 2020.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the district was not able to allocate sufficient time to creating an updated Strategic Plan in 2020, so the document ultimately guided the district through the 2022-2023 school year while the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan was being created.
