CDC’s Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People - July 27, 2021On August 11, 2021, Governor Newsom announced that California will require public schools to verify that workers are fully vaccinated and unvaccinated workers will be required to undergo weekly COVID-19 testing. Aragón, California’s public health officer, is part of the state’s efforts to protect Californians from the dangerous Delta variant of COVID-19 that is circulating in our community. Vaccination status can have an impact on if and how long employees are required to quarantine after exposure to COVID-19, and employees who are not vaccinated may be offered additional personal protective equipment under rules from Cal/OSHA.Vaccine Information from Tahoe Forest Health System
Vaccine appointments and drop-in visits are available at TFH's clinic for individuals 12 years and older:
The Tahoe Forest Vaccine Clinic is offering COVID vaccine appointments to patients 12 years and older via the State of California's My Turn System.
All Eastern Placer and Nevada County residents 12 years or older are eligible to receive a vaccine at the Tahoe Forest Vaccine Clinic. TFH’s vaccine clinic is now located at 11044 Donner Pass Road, in the Gateway building.
Vaccine clinic hours:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. – noon & 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Please note: patients 12-17 years old can only receive the Pfizer vaccine and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
