School Bus Poster Contest is Underway!

This year’s school bus poster contest is underway and all elementary and middle school students are encouraged to participate. This year’s theme is Can’t Touch This - The Danger Zone! 


This contest is held annually to raise the awareness of the importance of school bus safety, and each year it has a new theme tied to safe school transportation. Contestants must illustrate the theme in a positive manner have at least a part of a yellow school bus illustrated, and demonstrating only proper school bus safety behaviors.

The entries are judged in four divisions: 

Division #1: Grades K-3, Division #2: Grades 4-6,  Division #3: Grades 7-8, Division #4: Special Education: K-8th

The due date for all poster entries is Monday, December 2, 2019. Click here for the contest rules and specifications. Entry forms are located at each of our elementary and middle school sites. Ask your teacher, school bus driver, or your school office for official rules and/or paper.

All entries are also submitted into the California Association of School Transportation Officials (CASTO) poster contest, and students have the opportunity to compete at a regional, state and national level as well.
