As we start the school year, we wanted to make you aware of recent legislation that was passed that affects all school districts in California. Assembly Bill (AB) 130 was passed on July 9, 2021. AB 130 requires all school districts to provide an independent study program available to students whose health would be put at risk by in-person instruction, as determined by the parent or guardian.
