On Friday, November 13, Governor Newsom issued a travel advisory for those traveling in and out of California and the country.
Based on this travel advisory and the rising number of COVID-19 cases throughout the state and country, we are encouraging staff and families to not travel outside of the state or country unless necessary. We are also strongly advising TTUSD staff and families who travel out of the state to a foreign country or another state to adhere to the travel advisory and self-quarantine for 14 calendar days upon return to California. Students can attend school virtually during the self-quarantine time period. Per the Governor’s guidance:
Travel should only be for essential reasons.
The advisory excludes individuals who live in the State of Nevada and work in California from self-quarantine.
Thanksgiving Travel Travel increases your chance of getting and spreading COVID-19. Staying home for this holiday is the best way to protect yourself and others.
