We are pleased to announce that after another productive day of negotiations, the TTEA and TTUSD bargaining teams reached a Tentative Agreement. We reached an agreement on salary and benefits that will better help our district to attract and retain new educators locally, provisionally expand professional development opportunities for educators, and provide more professional flexibility for the use of personal leaves. 

TTEA members should look for further communications to their personal emails soon for details concerning an upcoming all-call meeting (Thursday at 7pm via Web-Ex) and ratification voting instructions. The full text of the tentative agreement will be provided at the all-call meeting. Both teams fully support this agreement and look forward to its ratification via the TTEA membership and the TTUSD school board.

The TTUSD and TTEA negotiation teams met today and had a productive day of negotiations. Both TTUSD and TTEA presented counter proposals that addressed the needs of both parties.

While we have not yet reached an agreement, we made substantive progress and look forward to meeting again on November 28th.
